The Goffs Oak Community Association (GOCA) organised yet another successful litter pick, in and around the village, on Sunday 20th October 2019..  Residents and others picked up around 30 sacks of rubbish, heavy debris and garden refuse.  The Community garden and surrounding areas around the Goffs Oak library car park were also tidied.
All in all it was a great effort by volunteers who spent their Sunday morning clearing our local environment.  We hope that other groups in the Borough will be encouraged by our efforts.  It really is a rewarding commitment and good for the Community.
Thank you to the Broxbourne Borough Council for supporting this event and to ‘The Comrades Club’ for providing refreshments.
